Tomatillo Seeds (aka Ground Cherries) - Cape Gooseberry
OK, we have received a lot of requests for tomatillo seeds so we decided to give this one a try this year. The Cape Gooseberry originated in South America but were very popular in South Africa and get their name from having been grown around the Cape of Good Hope area. Harvesting in 7-to-14-day intervals will help the plant produce longer
These are a perennial seed but typically grown as an annual in the US. These grow in a tan husk and have a tart citrus like flavor.
These are packed by the pinch and will contain 30+ sees per pack.
Sow indoors and transplant after the last frost.
For planting instructions I direct everyone to the Farmer's Almanac. They are clear and concise and cover all care needs. You can find a link under the Blog & Video tab.
