A Large plant with medium-dark green leaves up to 4" long. Compared to Genovese, the scent and taste are sweeter. Also used in pestos but it makes a great milder basil for salads.
1/4 teaspoon of basil seeds. That is a lot of seed that will last for years if stored properly.
Direct sow or plant seed indoors 4 to 6 weeks before garden soil temperature is consistently 65 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit. You can scatter plant or plant 4-6 inches apart for full size plants. Basil needs warmth to grow, plant in full sun. Remove flowers for more leaf production. You can take cuttings and put them in water to root for replacement plants. Plant new seeds every 2-3 weeks for continuous production.
All my products are hand packaged by The Rusted Gardener himself. The picture is a 1/4 teaspoon of seeds.
