Pepper Seeds - Scotch Bonnet Yellow (Heirloom)

  • $1.75

Scotch Bonnet Yellow seeds produce one of the Caribbean's most prized peppers, boasting 100,000–350,000 Scoville units with distinctive fruity, smoky undertones. Seeds germinate in 7–14 days under consistent warmth (75–85°F), with transplants flowering 60–90 days after planting. Full maturity arrives in 120–150 days, yielding golden-yellow lantern-shaped peppers that transition from green. These vigorous plants demand full sun, rich soil, and consistent moisture for optimal productivity. Scotch Bonnets excel in Caribbean dishes, marinades, and specialty hot sauces. Best suited for gardeners with warm-season growing conditions seeking authentic flavor and reliable harvests.
